60 Sec Confidence Building – Sung Hero

I seem to be coming across this term unsong hero quite a bit these days.   Have you heard it too?   I think it is meant to be complimentary and commendable in some way.

Here is the meaning – a person who makes a substantive yet unrecognized contribution; a person whose bravery is unknown or unacknowledged  (Dictionary.com).

Personally, I don’t get excited!   In other words from definition above it means, not praised enough or getting the attention that is deserved.    Unsung by whom, anyway?

Angels sing about me.   If no one else does, they do!   (I heard them sing once by the way.  The experience lasted a few seconds or just a minute.  I did not see them but the melody and song was like nothing I had ever heard before.  It was heavenly.  I did not want it to end).  Yes, angels sing about you. So how can you be unsung?

God says I am a hero.  And so are you… whether you realize it or not.  God praises you.

So UNSUNG + HERO don’t go together in my books.  

Don’t wait for anyone to sing about you.  Don’t get disheartened when others don’t praise you.  Instead sing with the HOST of angels about you.  

Because you are a sung hero after all!
