20 Things we were not offended about 20 years ago!

Offence is fashionable.  Offence is the new order.  Trump is offending some.  Hilary is offending others.  When it is not the politicians, it is perhaps which party you like or usually vote for.

There has to be something to be offended with these days.  Christmas is few months away.  If I dare say Merry Christmas to someone who does not celebrate Christmas, those two words are enough to freeze my fireplace!

Are we more offended than 20 years ago?  I believe so.  And I think we are getting more so every day.  In fact the Good Book does warn that there will come a time when many will be offended.  

So while I am already offending someone with this post, (yet most of us say we live in a free society), let’s check out what gets our blood raging. “Free society?” I said.  Hmm.  Seems we are more enslaved these days simply by offence!
