When British Railways were running the UK railway system I got familiar with the term “Mind the Gap”. Often I would hear concerned adults tell young ones to “Mind your steps”. Those seeking to be in charge would often say “I have you in mind” or words to that effect.

Mind your way

Mind your way. Watch your mind. If you can do something with your mind you will find you will always be on top. Your mind will always give the drive. Your mind motivates you. Staying motivated removes fear and doubt.

There is something about the lifting up our hands in worship. We lift our hands in challenges. Our lifted hands are an offering unto the Lord. When my little one wishes to be carried – her hands go up. Many times these are in unexpected moments in public. What’s on the mind motivates the actions. Mind your way.

Using a tool properly is essential for effective outcomes. It’s harder to overcome improper use use than secure proper use first time round. The mind is the most powerful tool we are given. Everyone is born with a personal will that directs where their mind goes and actions determined.

When we are born into this physical realm we build our relationship with our environment through training our physical senses. Yet we are spirit beings living in physical bodies. By accurate observations we become increasingly effective in our outcomes and relationships. All these are through the agency of each individual’s mind. Mind your way.

Use your mind. See yourself the way God sees you. Look at the mirror of God – His written Word. Call into being those things that don’t exist. Study the scriptures to fill and nourish your spirit. Mind your way. Recreate those things concerning you through the words from God deposit in your spirit by expressing them with your mouth. That’s true meditation and confession. Saying the same things as God’s Word in agreement from your human spirit.

” I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” Jesus said this when He walked the earth as Son of Man. Jesus said the Father in Him did the work. I take from this His Miracles were by the agency of the Holy Spirit living within Him. More on this another day.

Don’t let circumstances determine your responses and direction in life Make the choice that only that which God has deposited in your spirit is demonstrated by you. Mind your way, expressing what the Spirit of God has impressed on your spirit.

Man was created in the spirit in the image and likeness of God. Then his body was formed from the dust of the ground. The breathe of God then gave him life. More on this another day
